Hi Guys n Gals,

My name is Derek and I’m a 58 year old budding guitarist that has only really been playing the guitar for around 5 years or so, but I’m loving it. It really seems to help my old mind concentrate and keep active, lol.

I’ve never played in a band or practiced with another musician yet, but I’d never say never! And this is the reason I am here in this community to learn from others and hopefully make a few amazing connections. If I’m too needy, just let me know. My wife is bored of the guitar chat!

Hi all,

I’m Paul, a 27 year old gigging guitarist from Boise, Idaho. I’ve been playing guitar for around 10+ years in a covers band who are too lazy to write their own material, lol. But that it fine with me.

My fav band will prob get me a lot of hate but I love Green Day! I am also very fond of Greta Van Fleet which also prob wont help my reputation in this forum, lol.

But I just want to connect with other guitarists away from all the political talk, so it’s nice to be here and am looking forward to meeting you all.
