Shinichi Ubukata is a highly respected Japanese guitarist and songwriter. His career began in 1998 as the guitarist for Ellegarden, who released five albums and several EPs and maxi- singles. When Ellegarden went on hiatus in 2008, Shinichi Ubukata formed Nothing's Carved In Stone and has released 11 albums so far. In 2018, Ellegarden reunited and continues to work while releasing its sixth album in 2022.
