Taylor is excited to unveil a category of double-course instruments inspired by the Latin/Mexican musical influences. Taylor Guitars is releasing a modified 12-string guitar that is strung in unison instead of octaves. The result is a more requinto style set up executed with the Taylor standard of playability and craftmanship. It's sometimes referred to as a Mexican 12-string and Taylor is calling this instrument the Doce Doble, which translates into "double 12." It produces a bold and resonant double-course voice.
