“Based on the 1967 vintage original, this limited-edition Fender ’67 Stratocaster will surprise and delight players as they create their own bold musical future. This reimagined Strat is built with a two-piece select alder body paired to a quartersawn maple neck with a smooth-playing ’65 “”C”” profile and topped by a 9.5”-radius round-lam rosewood fingerboard with parchment binding, 21 jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl dot markers. Pure Strat tone purrs and roars from a distinctive combination of handwound Fat ’64 Strat neck and middle pickups (middle is reverse-wound/reverse-polarity for hum cancellation) and a hellacious “”retrofitted”” Fender Shawbucker Zebra bridge pickup.
