The Gibson Custom Shop M2M Murphy Lab 1959 Les Paul Standard Ultra Light Aged electric guitar provides an authentic vintage playing experience. Crafted with a highly figured maple top and mahogany body, it looks and sounds like an original ’59 Les Paul. The nitrocellulose finish has been lightly aged by Murphy Lab for a touch of character and historic charm. A pair of Custombucker humbucking pickups deliver the warm, rounded tone of Gibson’s legendary PAF humbuckers from the era. Authentic 1959 DesignWith its arched maple top, mahogany body and vintage sunburst finish, this Les Paul looks like it came straight out of 1959. The nitrocellulose lacquer finish has been expertly aged by Murphy Lab using a specialized process to mimic the natural wear and patina of a well-loved vintage instrument.
