"Taylor's 200 Deluxe Series delivers all the essentials of a great guitar at an affordable price. Exquisite playability, a full and articulate voice, impeccable intonation up the neck, and Taylor's top-of-the-line, professional-grade ES-2 electronics are all wrapped up in this 224ce-K. This collection strikes a sweet balance between tasteful design constraint and aesthetic variety, bringing Taylor's signature tonal clarity and playability into a stage-worthy mix of guitar options. The Deluxe moniker refers to the addition of a fully-glossed body as opposed to a glossy top with satin back and sides. Like all 200 Deluxe Series guitars, this model ships in a deluxe Taylor hardshell case for optimal fit and protection. Body ShapeA Taylor original, the Grand Auditorium helped establish the Taylor acoustic sound. The popular body style makes for a versatile guitar that yields ample volume in response to light fingerpicking. It reacts to medium strumming and flatpicking with a clear, balanced sound across the tonal spectrum. If you want a great all-purpose guitar, the GA is an excellent choice. Tone WoodsA guitar's top is the primary filter and distributor of vibrating string energy through the guitar, which means it has a huge impact on its sound. Solid Hawaiian Koa is a hardwood that produces a natural compression, yielding more of a controlled ""roll-in"" effect to a note. The compression evens out a lively attack for a more balanced response. It delivers strong fundamentals with clear and direct focus - similar to mahogany - but with extra top-end shimmer and chime. Layered Hawaiian Koa back and sides create a visually appealing and complementary platform for the vibrating string energy sent by the guitar's top. Layered wood is less susceptible to changes in temperature and humidity, making it an excellent choice for players who travel with their instruments or simply require more durability. ElectronicsTaylor's ES2 is a revolutionary pickup design that delivers the latest in Taylor’s ongoing innovation in acoustic guitar amplification. The heart of the Expression System 2 is Taylor’s patented behind-the-saddle pickup, which features three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated pickup sensors. Because the pickup doesn't sit under the saddle, the bottom of the saddle comes in full contact with the bridge, allowing all the nuance of the guitar's tone to come through clearly whether playing acoustically or plugged-in. The location of the sensors enables a more dynamic range of acoustic sound to be captured than ever before while playing plugged-in. Together with Taylor’s custom-designed “professional audio”-grade preamp, this system produces exceptional amplified tone and responsiveness. On stage through a PA, plugged into your favorite acoustic amplifier, or direct into recording software, the Expression System 2 faithfully conveys the voice of your Taylor guitar. The Taylor Expression System 2 operates through a proprietary 9-volt battery compartment and easy-to-use volume, and active bass and treble controls. | Taylor 224ce-K DLX Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar"

"Taylor's 300 Series has introduced countless players to the pleasures of the all-solid-wood acoustic experience; it's the entry point to Taylor's USA-made instrument line. Players who step up to a 300 Series instrument, like this 312ce 12-Fret V-Class Grad Concert left-handed acoustic-electric guitar, will be rewarded with a guitar-for-a-lifetime that will only sound better with age. It doesn't take but a few strums to learn how the mix of tonewoods, construction and appointments combine to make Taylor's famous playability, intonation and tone. The 300 Series has everything you need and nothing you don't need in a fantastic sounding and playing instrument. The 312ce 12-Fret V-Class Grand Concert left-handed acoustic-electric ship in a deluxe hardshell case made by Taylor for optimal fit and protection. Body ShapeTaylor's Grand Concert is slightly smaller than its Grand Auditorium and yields controlled overtones, so the sound won't occupy a lot of sonic space. This is often a key consideration when other instruments are in the mix, such as in a performance or recording environment, and it allows the guitar to be heard more clearly. The Grand Concert pairs well with both 14-fret and 12-fret neck-to-body construction, and offers an articulate voice with top-end chime. It's perfect for fingerstyle players and light strummers, though flat-pickers are known to enjoy its tonal character too. Its intimate size makes it lap/couch-friendly, and a great fit for players who find smaller instruments more physically comfortable. Tonewood PairingA guitar's top is the primary filter and distributor of vibrating string energy through the guitar, which means it has a huge impact on its sound. Sitka Spruce is the most prevalent guitar top wood of the modern era. It blends stiffness and elasticity in just the right proportions which translates into broad dynamic range with crisp articulation. As a tonewood, solid Sapele back and sides complement the top with sonic characteristics that live comfortably between the dry, clear, woody sound of mahogany and the complex, overtone-rich character of rosewood. Sapele responds well to a variety of playing styles and fits nicely into an instrument mix. V-Class BracingTaylor's V-Class bracing is a fundamental innovation in acoustic guitar design. It marks an important evolution beyond traditional X-bracing, introducing an entirely new platform for acoustic performance. It is essentially a ""sonic engine"" that optimizes the response of an acoustic guitar in three key ways: by boosting volume, sustain, and by largely resolving the intonation (in-tune-ness) issues that have long plagued acoustic guitars. V-Class bracing creates purer, more orderly notes that don't cancel each other out or sound ""off"". They have clearer, more consistent response, and the whole fretboard is brought into greater sonic alignment for a more musical playing/listening experience. Guitars with V-Class bracing are easier to tune; the pitch sounds purer and more solid, and electronic tuners can more easily locate notes for quick, precise tuning. Other benefits: harmonics ring more uniformly down the neck, notes are louder with more projection and sustain, and notes are more consistent, i.e., upper register notes don't get choked out or swallowed. Fewer ""sour"" sonic qualities exist with chords; a more agreeable relationship is created between notes as they ripen, bloom and decay. Because the pickup doesn't sit under the saddle, the bottom of the saddle comes in full contact with the bridge, allowing all the nuance o Left-handed modelEquipped with Taylor ES2 electronics with onboard phase filterV-Class bracing for better volume, sustain and intonation12-fret neck with cutaway for better accessibility to higher notesHardshell case | Taylor 312ce 12-Fret V-Class Grand Concert Left-Handed Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural"

The Taylor 312ce Grand Concert acoustic-electric guitar provides serious musicians with the perfect combination of resonant solid-wood tone and workhorse utility. Featuring solid sapele back and sides paired with a Sitka spruce top, this guitar generates a clear, punchy midrange response with minimal overtones and a warm, woody character focused on the fundamental note. Taylor's innovative V-Class bracing boosts both volume and sustain while resolving intonation issues for purer, more consistent sound. The compact Grand Concert body shape offers comfortable playability and an articulate voice ideal for fingerstyle and light strumming. Premium Tonewoods Produce Balanced WarmthThe 312ce's solid sapele back and sides provide a balanced warmth between the dry tone of mahogany and rosewood's complex overtones. As the top wood, Sitka spruce is the most common for acoustic guitars, blending stiffness and elasticity to create a broad dynamic range with crisp articulation. Together, these premium tonewoods generate the impressive resonance and sustain Taylor guitars are known for. V-Class Bracing Optimizes ResponseTaylor's revolutionary V-Class bracing goes beyond traditional X-bracing to optimize the 312ce's response in three ways: boosting volume, increasing sustain and resolving intonation issues. V-Class bracing creates purer, more consistent notes that sound more in-tune across the fingerboard for a superior musical experience. Guitars with V-Class bracing are also easier to tune precisely thanks to their solid, in-tune pitch. Grand Concert Body Provides Controlled OvertonesThe 312ce's Grand Concert body is slightly smaller than the Grand Auditorium, yielding controlled overtones so the focused midrange won't overpower other instruments. The intimate size also makes this guitar comfortable for playing in tight spaces or on your lap. Despite its smaller size, the Grand Concert body pairs well with either a 14-fret or 12-fret neck joint to produce an articulate voice with chimey high-end that flatpickers and fingerstyle players alike can appreciate. Premium Appointments and ElectronicsPremium appointments on the 312ce include a tropical mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and elegant black and white binding. In creating its 314ce Special Edition Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar, Taylor Guitars truly left no stone unturned. This solid wood, special-edition guitar harnesses Taylor’s popular Grand Auditorium body style and its dependable V-Class bracing to produce rich and harmonically pleasing tones. Taylor used a solid Sitka spruce top and sapele back and sides to generate a full-bodied warmth with a high-end brilliance. Taylor’s Go-To FeaturesTaylor’s beautiful Vintage Sunburst finish with a shaded edge is simply stunning. The tonewoods used on the 314ce Special Edition are typically found only on more expensive, higher-end guitar models, but Taylor went all-out for this guitar. Its spruce top has been torrefied (a scientific process that results in changes to the cellular structure of the wood), to produce an aged tonal quality. In other words, the spruce wood has been “broken in” for you, so you immediately get the seasoned and professional sound you desire without having to wait years for your guitar to get there naturally. In addition, the sapele back and sides were created using a blend of Hawaiian koa, and Crelicam ebony was used for the bridge and fingerboard for added projection and high-end tonal sparkle. Taylor’s Durable MechanicsThe 314ce is suited-up with Expression System 2 electronics, an innovative pickup creation that encompassed Taylor’s top-tier acoustic-electric amplification mechanics. At the center of Taylor’s innovative Expression System 2 (Taylor’s famed behind-the-saddle pickups) are individually calibrated and precisely positioned sensors. Its professional audio-grade preamp enables the ES2 to maintain that full-bodied amplified tone and boosts reactionary harmonic blasts. When performing through a PA, an acoustic amplifier or into recording software, the Expression System 2 brings your sound to a higher level of professionalism. Taylor did not hold back in their attention to detail in creating this 314ce Special Edition Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar. To keep those details safe and sound between sessions, a deluxe hardshell case is also included with the purchase of this Taylor beauty.
