Tuner Output: Connect this to the input of your tuner. To avoid extra noise, your tuner must always be turned on when connected to Swiss Things. Volume EXP: Connect any expression pedal to this output to control volume. Most volume pedals create “tone-suck” by loading the signal down and have limited travel. This solves that problem with a buffered output and allows you to use any expression pedal with the same results. The expression jack is placed after the “dirt” effects loop (Loop 1) which allows you to change volume levels without affecting gain. Output A: connect this to the input of your amplifier. The Sea Machine is a chorus pedal with as many modulation possibilities as there are fish in the ocean. That’s a lot of fish. And a lot of modulation. From subtle, shimmery chorus sounds, to wobbly, seasick, warbly pitch-bent detuning that rocks the boat, the Sea Machine is the audio bait that’ll help you reel in the big one. The Sea Machine ain’t no one-trick seahorse. A variable waveshape LFO (adjustable via the Shape control) modulates your chorus tone from a smooth triangle shape, to a rough and choppy square wave, and an extended delay line allows you to dive deeper into uncharted modulated waters than ever before. Other LFO controls include Rate, which sets the speed of the LFO, and Depth, which sets how strongly the LFO modulates the delay time. The delay line has controls for Dimension, Animate and Intensity. The Dimension control adds a slightly detuned slapback at low levels, reverb-like ambience at mid-levels, and a trippy echo-resonance that leads to self-oscillation when cranked. The Animate control is the real pearl in the Sea Machine’s oyster, if you will. This controls how far the pitch swings. At lower settings, you’ll hear slight detuning for a subtle double-tracked thickening effect, á la traditional chorus pedals. As you increase the Animate control, the pitch swings further and further away from the root note for an effect that lies somewhere between chorus and vibrato, before landing at full tilt on sonar-like oscillations that sound more like a giant monster-movie beast awaking from its undersea slumber than any effects pedal we’ve ever heard. Finally, the Intensity control rounds out the delay line, adjusting the blend between the modulated and dry signals. With this mix of standard and unique controls, everything from subtle warble, classic Leslie, seasick pitch bends, strangled alien sounds, stunted arpeggiations and many more far out sounds are available. Or you could just use it as a chorus. That works, too. Oh, and if you’re a bass player who fancies themselves a fan of the classic '80s post-punk bass sound, the Sea Machine is pretty much just like (tone) heaven. EarthQuaker has designed the Sea Machine to work well following fuzz/overdrive/distortion pedals without getting muddy, lowering in output, or breaking up, because they like running distortion pedals into things. The EarthQuaker Devices Limited-Edition Disaster Transport Legacy Reissue delay effects pedal has been redesigned so the delay line reduces the noise floor and improves the quality of the delay. The output is boosted with a cleaner mixing section; it’s now filtered to sound more like an analog delay than any of the previous versions. This delay pedal sits perfectly in the background with more of an evolved ambiance to it, but it can be dialed in for more of a dramatic effect of your choosing. A Mod Mode switch has been added that allows you to choose between bending (Bend) and stretching (Stretch) the modulation wave. The Bend setting offers a subtler vibe closer to a traditional chorus sound, while the new Stretch option gives you loads of pitch-stretching modulation to run wild with. The newly added Mod Speed 3-position toggle switch offers Slow (S), Fast (F), and Medium (M) settings. The newly designed enclosure features knobs to control the Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats, and Time, with Modulate and Activate Switches, making this a highly customizable pedal to get the delay sound of your dreams. Thanks to the ramp modulation circuitry, you can turn the delay time down and start to use feedback and modulation at a higher setting to harness a bizarre modulator and achieve subtle to wild chorus-type effects. Or set your delay time how you want to and use your modulation rates to set your tempo, so you can strum or pluck to the climbs and drop offs to match your riffs. The possibilities are endless. ControlsRate: Controls the speed of the modulation. The Rate operates in three ranges (Slow/Fast/Medium) selected by the Mod Speed toggle switch. The Disaster Transport uses a Ramp wave for the modulation. You’ll find this to be much more intense than most modulated delays. Think of it as a traditional Triangle wave that falls off a cliff in mid-cycle, creating a drastic pitch bend in its wake. Intensity: Controls how much the LFO modulates the delay time. More subtle chorus type effects are achieved with less intensity and more intensity will yield wild pitch stretching and bending. The overall modulation style can be made more or less subtle by using the Mod Mode toggle switch to select Bend or Stretch. Mix: Sets the volume level for the delay signal. Hear more of what you just played 30-600ms ago by turning this up. Repeats: Controls the intensity of delay feedback from no repeats at zero to self-oscillation at max. Let the past pile up on you until it implodes. Time: Sets the delay time from around 30ms at zero to 600ms at max. Mod Speed: Three position toggle switch that sets the range in which the rate operates. Mod Mode: Two position toggle switch to choose the modulation style. EarthQuaker Ledges is a compact, three-mode reverb with the ability to save and recall six presets and user-assignable expression control with loads of customizable options. From warm, lush reverb tones to the farthest sonic reaches of the reverb cosmos, Ledges can do it all. Ledges was created for no-nonsense musicians who need access to a wide variety of fantastic sounds and don’t want to mess with menu diving, extra footswitches or MIDI controllers. Ledges offers three distinct, rich reverbs that cover all the bases—Room, Hall and the almost infinitely regenerating Plate—with user-assignable expression control and six presets to easily switch between settings. Presets can even save expression pedal assignments, making it easier than ever to save and switch between six unique reverb sounds. Ledges has three unique reverb modes: Room, Hall and Plate. Each mode uses a different algorithm, tuned to give specific spatial qualities, while still sitting perfectly in the mix. Looking for harsh or muddy tones? Keep looking, cause you won’t find them here. Room (R) has the darkest tone of the three modes. At the shortest length setting, it’s like a small, boxy room, reminiscent of '80s reverb. As you bring the length up, the reflections become distant and brighter; similar to playing in a large tile room. If you hit the strings harder, it has an almost spring reverb character without becoming completely washed out. Hall’s (H) shortest length setting picks up where the longest length of Room leaves off. Hall shifts from a large hall to a massive cathedral with loads of soft, distant reflections that build up faster and trail off longer. Plate (P) goes from a traditional, large plate to a nearly infinite pad of reflections that create a regenerative freeze-like effect that gradually decays. At the shortest length setting, the decay of the Plate picks up where Hall leaves off. At the longest length setting, the highest frequencies of the reverb are recirculated, generating a nearly infinite ambient pad of bouncy reflections underneath your initial attack that can go to the verge of self-oscillation. The recirculated pad can be further fine-tuned with the damping control to sit just right in the mix. Pro tip: Ledges is buffered bypass to allow the reverb to naturally decay when bypassed. You can create a dense ambient pad, bypass the pedal and play over top of your naturally decaying micro-loop. Get 2 or 3 ledges and make a mini reverb version of frippertronics! The Sea Machine is a chorus pedal with as many modulation possibilities as there are fish in the ocean. That’s a lot of fish. And a lot of modulation. From subtle, shimmery chorus sounds, to wobbly, seasick, warbly pitch-bent detuning that rocks the boat, the Sea Machine is the audio bait that’ll help you reel in the big one. The Sea Machine ain’t no one-trick seahorse. A variable waveshape LFO (adjustable via the Shape control) modulates your chorus tone from a smooth triangle shape, to a rough and choppy square wave, and an extended delay line allows you to dive deeper into uncharted modulated waters than ever before. Other LFO controls include Rate, which sets the speed of the LFO, and Depth, which sets how strongly the LFO modulates the delay time. The delay line has controls for Dimension, Animate and Intensity. The Dimension control adds a slightly detuned slapback at low levels, reverb-like ambience at mid-levels, and a trippy echo-resonance that leads to self-oscillation when cranked. The Animate control is the real pearl in the Sea Machine’s oyster, if you will. This controls how far the pitch swings. At lower settings, you’ll hear slight detuning for a subtle double-tracked thickening effect, á la traditional chorus pedals. As you increase the Animate control, the pitch swings further and further away from the root note for an effect that lies somewhere between chorus and vibrato, before landing at full tilt on sonar-like oscillations that sound more like a giant monster-movie beast awaking from its undersea slumber than any effects pedal we’ve ever heard. Finally, the Intensity control rounds out the delay line, adjusting the blend between the modulated and dry signals. With this mix of standard and unique controls, everything from subtle warble, classic Leslie, seasick pitch bends, strangled alien sounds, stunted arpeggiations and many more far out sounds are available. Or you could just use it as a chorus. That works, too. Oh, and if you’re a bass player who fancies themselves a fan of the classic '80s post-punk bass sound, the Sea Machine is pretty much just like (tone) heaven. EarthQuaker has designed the Sea Machine to work well following fuzz/overdrive/distortion pedals without getting muddy, lowering in output, or breaking up, because they like running distortion pedals into things. The EarthQuaker Devices Limited-Edition Disaster Transport Legacy Reissue delay effects pedal has been redesigned so the delay line reduces the noise floor and improves the quality of the delay. The output is boosted with a cleaner mixing section; it’s now filtered to sound more like an analog delay than any of the previous versions. This delay pedal sits perfectly in the background with more of an evolved ambiance to it, but it can be dialed in for more of a dramatic effect of your choosing. A Mod Mode switch has been added that allows you to choose between bending (Bend) and stretching (Stretch) the modulation wave. The Bend setting offers a subtler vibe closer to a traditional chorus sound, while the new Stretch option gives you loads of pitch-stretching modulation to run wild with. The newly added Mod Speed 3-position toggle switch offers Slow (S), Fast (F), and Medium (M) settings. The newly designed enclosure features knobs to control the Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats, and Time, with Modulate and Activate Switches, making this a highly customizable pedal to get the delay sound of your dreams. Thanks to the ramp modulation circuitry, you can turn the delay time down and start to use feedback and modulation at a higher setting to harness a bizarre modulator and achieve subtle to wild chorus-type effects. Or set your delay time how you want to and use your modulation rates to set your tempo, so you can strum or pluck to the climbs and drop offs to match your riffs. The possibilities are endless. ControlsRate: Controls the speed of the modulation. The Rate operates in three ranges (Slow/Fast/Medium) selected by the Mod Speed toggle switch. The Disaster Transport uses a Ramp wave for the modulation. You’ll find this to be much more intense than most modulated delays. Think of it as a traditional Triangle wave that falls off a cliff in mid-cycle, creating a drastic pitch bend in its wake. Intensity: Controls how much the LFO modulates the delay time. More subtle chorus type effects are achieved with less intensity and more intensity will yield wild pitch stretching and bending. The overall modulation style can be made more or less subtle by using the Mod Mode toggle switch to select Bend or Stretch. Mix: Sets the volume level for the delay signal. Hear more of what you just played 30-600ms ago by turning this up. Repeats: Controls the intensity of delay feedback from no repeats at zero to self-oscillation at max. Let the past pile up on you until it implodes. Time: Sets the delay time from around 30ms at zero to 600ms at max. Mod Speed: Three position toggle switch that sets the range in which the rate operates. Mod Mode: Two position toggle switch to choose the modulation style. Bend is more of a traditional chorus type modulation and Stretch is a wilder pitch stretching modulation. EarthQuaker Ledges is a compact, three-mode reverb with the ability to save and recall six presets and user-assignable expression control with loads of customizable options. From warm, lush reverb tones to the farthest sonic reaches of the reverb cosmos, Ledges can do it all. Ledges was created for no-nonsense musicians who need access to a wide variety of fantastic sounds and don’t want to mess with menu diving, extra footswitches or MIDI controllers. Ledges offers three distinct, rich reverbs that cover all the bases—Room, Hall and the almost infinitely regenerating Plate—with user-assignable expression control and six presets to easily switch between settings. Presets can even save expression pedal assignments, making it easier than ever to save and switch between six unique reverb sounds. Ledges has three unique reverb modes: Room, Hall and Plate. Each mode uses a different algorithm, tuned to give specific spatial qualities, while still sitting perfectly in the mix. Looking for harsh or muddy tones? Keep looking, cause you won’t find them here. Room (R) has the darkest tone of the three modes. At the shortest length setting, it’s like a small, boxy room, reminiscent of '80s reverb. As you bring the length up, the reflections become distant and brighter; similar to playing in a large tile room. If you hit the strings harder, it has an almost spring reverb character without becoming completely washed out. Hall’s (H) shortest length setting picks up where the longest length of Room leaves off. Hall shifts from a large hall to a massive cathedral with loads of soft, distant reflections that build up faster and trail off longer. Plate (P) goes from a traditional, large plate to a nearly infinite pad of reflections that create a regenerative freeze-like effect that gradually decays. At the shortest length setting, the decay of the Plate picks up where Hall leaves off. At the longest length setting, the highest frequencies of the reverb are recirculated, generating a nearly infinite ambient pad of bouncy reflections underneath your initial attack that can go to the verge of self-oscillation. The recirculated pad can be further fine-tuned with the damping control to sit just right in the mix. Pro tip: Ledges is buffered bypass to allow the reverb to naturally decay when bypassed. You can create a dense ambient pad, bypass the pedal and play over top of your naturally decaying micro-loop. Get 2 or 3 ledges and make a mini reverb version of frippertronics! Ledges boasts six presets and on-the-fly footswitch preset switching, with expression control that can be mapped to different controls and can also be saved as a preset.
