Get my Guitar found the latest prices on the Fender Custom Shop Dealer Select Stratocaster HST Journeyman Electric Guitar Aged Candy Apple Red.

The Fender Custom Shop Dealer Select Journeyman HST Stratocaster is that singular guitar that instantly adds a new level of depth to anyone’s collection. Completely designed by Guitar Center, the HST is made for the most serious of Fender fans. At first glance, it’s a Strat meets Tele Custom, with a Seymour Duncan hand-wound humbucker and dual Custom Shop single coils. But with an instrument like this, it’s all about the details—the roasted maple neck, compound radius AAA rosewood fretboard and lightly aged Journeyman finish. Available exclusively at Guitar Center, the HST Strat sets a new standard for premium features with vintage sounds. Fender Custom Shop Dealer Select Journeyman HST Stratocaster Main FeaturesAlder bodyRoasted maple neck with ’60 C-profile, AAA rosewood fretboard with compound radiusSeymour Duncan SH-55 humbucker (neck), Fat ’50s Strat (middle), Fat ’51 Nocaster (bridge), 5-way switchAmerican Vintage tremolo bridge/tailpiece, vintage locking tuners A Body Built for Tone and Visual AppealWe chose alder for the body, a balanced tonewood that makes a perfect sonic base for pickups. It has a Journeyman relic finish—the shine of a closet classic, with the lacquer checking that only age (and the Fender Custom Shop) imparts. A Neck Spec’d With Special WoodsThere is something intoxicating about roasted maple, and Fender uses it to full effect with this neck. It has a ’60s oval C shape, based specifically on a 1963 Strat. The AAA rosewood fretboard has a compound radius—7.25ʺ to 9.25ʺ. It has a rounder, chunkier, feel for lower fret chording; moving up the neck, the fretboard flattens for better bending, faster picking and more tuneful arpeggios. Balanced Set of Hand-Wound PickupsIt’s easy to drop three different pickups into a guitar and call it a day, but we spent extra time with Fender to come up with a truly balanced set. Seth Lover designed the neck humbucker in the original ’72 Tele Custom. Get my Guitar found the latest prices on the Martin 00-28 Modern Deluxe Acoustic Guitar Natural.

The Martin 00-28 Modern Deluxe acoustic guitar is a perfect blend of old and new, fusing classic craftmanship with cutting-edge technology. Rosewood back and sides produce complex overtones and a bright top end. And with an aged Sitka spruce top, the tone is rich and warm, just like a golden-era Martin. If you want more bass than a parlor provides, this 00-sized acoustic delivers—it's remarkably suited for recording. The fancy, style-28 ornamentation is an equal standout onstage. Read on to discover if this Martin Modern Deluxe guitar has what it takes to become your favorite flattop. Upscale appointmentsMartin dresses up the 00-28 with European flame maple binding, a feature previously limited to Custom Shop guitars. The same flame appears on the heelcap and endpiece. A bold herringbone inlay surrounds the soundboard; fretboard inlays are abalone diamonds and squares. Gold EVO frets complement the gold, open-gear butterbean tuners. Martin tops off the headstock with a ’30s-style logo inlaid with pearl. A new guitar that doesn't sound like itMartin ages the Sitka spruce top on the 00-28 acoustic using its Vintage Tone System (VTS). By heating the tonewood at a high temperature—a process known as torrefaction—the soundboard becomes molecularly similar to one made decades earlier. You'll hear it ring with more resonance. To play the Modern Deluxe is to travel back in time. Modern updatesThe neck profile on the Martin 00-28 is based on an extremely rare acoustic in the company's archives—a 1930 OM-45 Deluxe. That historic guitar has a slight asymmetrical neck shape that's surprisingly contemporary, making it a perfect fit for the 00-28 acoustic guitar. The High Performance Taper on the ebony fingerboard contributes to a fast, comfortable playing experience. In another break with the past, the Martin Modern Deluxe comes with Liquidmetal bridge pins that reflect energy instead of absorbing it, boosting output by 3db to 5dB. The bridge plate is just as advanced. Made of carbon fiber, it's lighter and stronger than maple for even more projection and sustain. Other features include a multi-stripe back inlay, plus a bone nut and saddle. The Martin 00-28 Modern Deluxe comes with a hardshell case. Handcrafted in Nazareth, Pennsylvania using traditional techniques like dovetail neck joints and natural protein glue, this guitar blends vintage appointments with custom features for a rich, complex tone and sleek esthetic. With a comfortable modified low oval neck and hardshell case included, the Martin 000-28 Modern Deluxe is an investment in musical artistry. Vintage Tone System Top Produces a Mature, Nuanced SoundThe 000-28 Modern Deluxe's solid Sitka spruce top has been treated with Martin's Vintage Tone System, a torrefaction process that chemically ages the wood to simulate the tonal qualities of a well-played vintage instrument. The result is a rich, complex voice with sweet highs, a throaty midrange and resonant bass. This top, combined with East Indian Rosewood back and sides, gives the 000-28 Modern Deluxe a balanced tone that shines for fingerpicking and strumming alike. Modified Low Oval Neck Profile Offers Ergonomic ComfortThe 000-28 Modern Deluxe features a modified low oval neck profile, slightly wider and fuller than a standard low oval shape. Here, it’s a Seymour Duncan SH-55, built to Lover’s precise specification for a true P.A.F. sound—lively with a warm midrange and a smooth, buttery treble. A Fat ’50s Stratocaster single coil occupies the middle position. It has the vintage tone of the earliest Strat pickup, but is reverse-wound with reverse polarity for modern, noiseless operation. The bridge Fat ’51 Nocaster offers true Tele twang and a tight low end, with the biting treble tones of Bakersfield. Meticulously built with a chambered rosewood body, rosewood neck and handwound pickups, it authentically channels the rich, warm tone that made the original so legendary. Whether you play blues, rock or country, this rosewood Tele will inspire you with its classic vibe and voice. Rosewood Resonance With a Lightweight BuildThe solid Indian rosewood body serves up tone that's both earthy and articulate. Rosewood's tight grain pattern helps notes bloom with a full midrange and smooth high end. A chambered maple center eliminates uncomfortable weight while enhancing resonance and sustain. You're getting the best of both worlds—a lively, responsive tonewood with a lightweight, easy-to-play design ideal for long sets on the stage or in the studio. A Soulful Rosewood Neck Built for ExpressionThe vintage-spec rosewood neck profile feels instantly familiar in your hand. Its rounded '60s C-shape and narrow 9 mm fingerboard allow your fingers to effortlessly wrap around the strings for fluid soloing and chord work. From the slender .575"" headstock to the 7.25"" radius and narrow dot spacing, every dimension recreates the essence of a '60s Tele built for uninhibited musical expression. The satin nitrocellulose finish enhances the tactile response while allowing the rosewood to breathe and age gracefully over years of playing. Handwound Pickups Recapture Vintage MagicTwisted Tele pickups were a signature feature of the '60s rosewood Tele. These handwound, custom-spec'd pickups precisely replicate the gritty, bell-like tones that Fender's '60s classics were prized for. The bridge pickup serves up searing twang with just the right amount of growl for overdriven leads. Dial in the neck pickup for a rich, buttery clean tone perfect for jazz and blues.

This contoured design supports the hand for a comfortable playing feel up and down the fretboard. The modified low oval neck, combined with a 1.75"" nut width and 2.3125"" string spacing at the bridge, makes the 000-28 Modern Deluxe ideal for guitarists of all playing styles. Premium Appointments Provide Visually Striking EleganceGold frets, gold open-gear tuners and Liquidmetal bridge pins with red dots give the 000-28 Modern Deluxe a touch of flash while also improving sustain and tuning stability.
