The Martin Rich Robinson Custom Signature Edition D-28 dreadnought acoustic guitar is the first model Martin has made as a visual and sonic representation of an artist’s personal instrument. It is inspired by a 1954 D-28 that was handed down from Robinson’s father, who played it on stage at the Grand Ole Opry, as a traveling musician with the Hillbilly Highway and in his folk band, The Appalachians, during the 1950s and ’60s. After inheriting his father’s guitar, Robinson used it to write most of the original Black Crowes’ songs from the band’s studio albums. This soulful representation of that beloved guitar is crafted with aged satin-finished East Indian rosewood for the back and sides, and an aged spruce top that is finished with a very thin vintage gloss. It also features rearward-shifted non-scalloped bracing, which offers balanced tone and added volume. It includes some 1950s-style vintage build characteristics, like the signature Martin dovetail neck joint, authentic hide glue construction, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and aged nickel tuners. Another custom feature requested by Robinson is a bridge with the wings slightly softened for comfort. The model includes a specially designed label signed by Robinson and numbered in sequence. Get my Guitar found the latest prices on the Guild USA Artist Edition S-100 Polara Kim Thayil Limited Electric Guitar White.

As part of Guild's 70th anniversary and in collaboration with Kim Thayil, Guild introduces the USA Artist Edition S-100 Polara Kim Thayil, a limited run of 30 master built guitars celebrating the Soundgarden guitarist’s over 30-year connection to the S-100 Polara. A pioneer of the Seattle Sound, Thayil is synonymous with the iconic grunge tone of the ‘90s, all of which originated from his Guild S-100. The Guild USA Artist Edition S-100 Polara Kim Thayil replicates the construction, tone, and aesthetic of his favorite Guild S-100 Polara. This signature model takes its specs from two of Thayil's most iconic guitars—his favorite 1978 Guild S-100 Polara in natural, and his go-to stage guitar, a white model with gold hardware. Specs and measurements taken from the 1978 model were replicated by Master Luthier Chuck Sanzone. Hand-built utilizing one-piece bodies of old-growth Honduran mahogany, the Guild ’70s neck shape and large headstock reflect Thayil's favorite features of his '78 S-100.These ultra-limited guitars also include pickups hand-wound by Jason Lollar—a fellow Seattle native who is world renowned for his designs. Lollar worked with Guild and Thayil to authentically produce Guild's flagship HB-1 humbuckers. Hand-wound by Lollar himself, these humbuckers replicate the warm but articulate timbre of ’70s S-100 Polaras. A perfect match for Thayil's heavy tones, the added clarity of the HB-1s allow the guitar to cut through the mix. Also equipped with a phase switch, accurate to vintage specs, these features are essential to recreating the magic of Thayil's favorite S-100 Polara models. Additional features include a bound Indian rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays, reproduction Guild/Mueller style bridge and a compensated stopbar tailpiece. It also features a King Animal truss rod cover and Badmotorfinger back cover hand-signed by Thayil. Honoring the long-standing legacy of Soundgarden's 1991 album Badmotorfinger and their 2012 album King Animal, these symbols are quintessentially grunge and pay tribute to Thayil and his bandmates. Per Thayil's request, the signature model also features Grover Original Rotomatics tuners for stability and ease of use. Standard on vintage S-100 Polara models, these tuners are a reliable industry favorite. Using his Guild S-100, Thayil created his own original style that helped propel Soundgarden to the top of the Seattle rock heap in the 1990s, and they are still considered one of the greatest grunge bands of all time. The Guild USA Artist Edition S-100 Polara Kim Thayil captures the same magic Thayil discovered while playing his first S-100 Polara. "The Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1964 SG Standard is a reissue that looks like the real thing—a vintage instrument made in the same year the U.S. met the Beatles. Of course, George Harrison famously played a ’64 SG Standard, as did Eric Clapton, but it's also been the weapon of choice for more modern musicians. Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, U2's the Edge and ex-Smiths Johnny Marr have all succumbed to the sounds of the SG. Utilizing aging techniques created by Master Artisan Tom Murphy, this reissue looks like a vintage Gibson with five decades of average play wear. Lacquer checking and hardware with a muted patina complete the transformation. With dual CustomBuckers and a Maestro Vibrola, you'll be able to coax great sound from the get-go. If you've been looking for an absolutely authentic SG Standard, congratulations—Guitar Center has you covered with this Gibson.’64 SG Standard Reissue Main Features1-piece lightweight mahogany bodyMahogany neck with medium C-shape, Indian rosewood fretboardDual alnico III CustomBuckers (unpotted), 3-way switchABR-1 tune-o-matic bridge, Maestro Vibrola, vintage-style tunersLight-aged finishLightweight ConstructionOne of the benefits of a ’60s SG is the way it feels on your shoulders. It's also roughly 1"" thinner than a Les Paul, and with edge bevels, more comfortable. Period-Correct Chunky NeckWhen the SG Standard was first released in 1961, Gibson said it had the ""fastest neck in the world."" It was very thin, but as a result, was also prone to breaking. By 1964, the SG had a beefier neck; this Murphy Lab model shares that same profile, a medium C shape. It attaches to the body with a long tenon and is set with historically-accurate hide glue. An exciting addition to Taylor's Builder’s Edition line, the 914ce Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar achieves stellar acoustic tone, sustain and playability. This Taylor 914ce combines back and sides of Honduran rosewood with a top of beautifully striped sinker redwood, creating a guitar with unparalleled harmonic complexity, piano-like trebles and robust lows. The innovative V-Class bracing optimizes the guitar's response, improving volume, sustain and intonation. Playability gets an upgrade as well, with a comfortably sculpted armrest, contoured body edges, curved bridge and a host of other enticing appointments. Thoughtfully Curated TonewoodsThe Taylor Builder’s Edition 914ce pairs back and sides of Honduran rosewood with a sinker redwood top, a stunning combination usually reserved for the company's Presentation Series. The Honduran rosewood is denser than Indian rosewood, producing complex harmonics with refined response across the frequencies—warm lows, clear trebles and piano-like clarity. The top features sinker redwood from old-growth logs recovered from Northern California rivers, yielding a woodgrain with dramatic striping. It provides the pleasing warmth and touch sensitivity of cedar, along with enhanced projection and dynamics. Together these rare and resonant tonewoods create a voice with exceptional nuance and presence. Grand Auditorium Body With V-Class BracingThis 914ce Grand Auditorium features Taylor's innovative V-Class bracing, which optimizes the 914ce's performance in three key areas: volume, sustain and intonation. By boosting volume and sustain, it enhances the guitar's tonal response and playability. But perhaps most impressively, it improves intonation accuracy across the fingerboard, meaning chords ring out with purer pitches. Contours to the armrest, cutaway and edges maximize comfort. High-end appointments include Hawaiian koa wood purfling with abalone edge trim and a koa/abalone rosette. The hand-sprayed Kona burst, gloss body and satin neck offer understated elegance. Tonally and Aesthetically Gorgeous NeckThe mahogany neck on the Builder’s Edition 914ce boasts easy playability and added sonic character. With its genuine West African ebony fingerboard, you can feel the exquisite resonance across its 20 frets. Antique gold Gotoh 510 tuning machines and a black graphite nut ensure rock-solid tuning stability. Amplify Your ToneThe Taylor ES2 pickup system faithfully amplifies the 914ce's nuanced acoustic voice. With sensors positioned behind the saddle, the strings fully contact the bridge for optimized resonance. This enables a wide dynamic range and the most natural amplified tone. Easy-to-use controls let you shape bass, midrange and treble response. On | Taylor Builder's Edition 914ce Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar Kona Edgeburst

"This Taylor Custom Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar features back and sides of Honduran rosewood in a four-piece configuration with a Simons wedge, a striped sinker redwood top, V-Class bracing, and a Venetian cutaway. It’s equipped with ES2 electronics with a built-in TaylorSense unit. Custom appointments include a single-ring LB rosette with a bloodwood-bound soundhole, bloodwood body binding, and LB bloodwood/mother-of-pearl fretboard inlays. The dark-stained bone bridge pins feature red opal dots. This Taylor Custom acoustic-electric also features a silent satin body finish, as well as antique gold Gotoh 510 tuners with black buttons. A Taylor Deluxe hardshell case is included for maximum protection. About the Grand Auditorium A Taylor original, the Grand Auditorium helped establish the Taylor acoustic sound. The popular body style makes for a versatile guitar that yields ample volume in response to light fingerpicking and reacts to medium strumming and flatpicking with a clear, balanced sound across the tonal spectrum. V-Class BracingTaylor's V-Class bracing is essentially a ""sonic engine"" that optimizes the response of an acoustic guitar in three key ways: by boosting volume, sustain and by largely resolving the intonation (in-tune-ness) issues that have long plagued acoustic guitars. V-Class bracing creates purer, more orderly notes that don't cancel each other out or sound ""off.” They have clearer, more consistent response, and the whole fretboard is brought into greater sonic alignment for a more musical playing/listening experience. Guitars with V-Class bracing are easier to tune; the pitch sounds purer and more solid, and electronic tuners can more easily locate notes for quick, precise tuning. ElectronicsThe heart of Taylor’s Expression System 2 electronics is Taylor’s patented behind-the-saddle pickup, which features three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated pickup sensors. Because the pickup doesn't sit under the saddle, the bottom of the saddle comes in full contact with the bridge, allowing all the nuance of the guitar's tone to come through clearly whether playing acoustically or plugged in. The location of the sensors enables a more dynamic range of acoustic sound to be captured than ever before while playing plugged in. The Taylor Expression System 2 operates through a proprietary 9-volt battery compartment and easy-to-use volume, and active bass and treble controls. TaylorSense is a healthcare monitoring system that monitors your guitars humidity level, temperature and alerts you of any physical impacts. In 1976, the band’s frontman, Paul Stanley, was approached by Ibanez to collaborate on a signature guitar that would become the iconic instrument he’d forever be associated with. In 1977, when Stanley and Ibanez sat down to create his signature guitar, it was to be a totally unique design. However, while perusing through the Ibanez catalog, one guitar in particular caught Stanley’s eye—the Artist 2663. Later to be known as the “Iceman,” the Artist wasn’t exactly a popular model at the time, but Stanley was intrigued by its asymmetrical shape and unusual body style and decided this would be the template for his signature instrument: The PS. The Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1954 Les Paul Goldtop in Double Gold is an heirloom-quality guitar that looks like a vintage original. It's easy to imagine this Goldtop sliding around in a band van for decades. You can thank the Murphy Lab for that— their Heavy aging process is impeccable. Just as impressive are the pickups—two P90s offer up loads of snarling tones. Available now at Guitar Center, the ’54 Les Paul Goldtop deserves to be the centerpiece of your collection. Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1954 Goldtop Double Gold Main FeaturesMahogany body and 2-piece maple top with Murphy Lab Heavy AgingMahogany neck with chunky C profile, Indian rosewood fretboardDual P-90 single-coil pickups, 3 way switchWraparound bridge/tailpiece, Kluson tunersHistoric Construction & Authentic AgingThe ’54 Les Paul Goldtop has a lightweight and resonant mahogany body. A 2-piece maple top adds snap. Gibson Custom uses hide glue to affix the two. It's painted in Double Gold nitro to replicate the finish of a vintage original Les Paul. The Murphy Lab then applies a Heavy Aging to simulate six decades of significant wear and tear. That means buckle rash on the back, peghead scratches and pick scrapes on the front, plus prominent lacquer checking throughout. Period-Correct NeckGibson's mahogany necks of the ’50s had a little more meat on the bones. This Les Paul Goldtop is no exception. The chunky C profile neck isn't a baseball bat, but it's not super thin, either. To give it the feel of a worn-in instrument, Gibson rounds the neck binding (as well as the rest of the guitar). The inlays are made of aged cellulose nitrate. Shaped like crowns, the look is appropriately regal for a Goldtop. Powered by P-90sThis ’54 Gibson is loaded with a pair of soapbar P-90s. They have a tonal sensitivity that allows them to fit into any context—country, rock, jazz, blues, punk—you name it. Dial them down for smoother sounds, or up the gain for classic growl. CTS 500k pots and paper-in-oil capacitors round out the ’50-style wiring. Time-Tested HardwareThe original 1952 Les Paul had a problematic trapeze tailpiece that made it difficult to palm mute or play in tune. By 1954, it had been replaced with a combination bridge/tailpiece designed by Gibson president Ted McCarty. This reissue gets that same wraparound stopbar that has stood the test of time. The Kluson tuners are also identical to the era. All of the hardware has an aged patina courtesy of the Murphy Lab. Get my Guitar found the latest prices on the Martin Rich Robinson Custom Signature Edition D-28 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Natural.

It comes with a hardshell case.

Get my Guitar found the latest prices on the Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1964 SG Standard Reissue With Maestro Vibrola Light Aged Electric Guitar Antique Pelham Blue.

It doesn't have the same heft as a Les Paul from the same era. The Custom Shop fashioned this instrument from one piece of lightweight mahogany. The fretboard is Indian rosewood with extra rolled fingerboard binding and cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays. Blast Off With CustomBuckersThe Murphy Lab SG is loaded with a set of hand-wound CustomBuckers. Unpotted and made with alnico III magnets, they capture the magic of original PAF pickups—thick, warm, muscular—but still transparent. They're wired with Black Beauty capacitors and CTS 500K pots. Historic HardwareThis Gibson is spec'd with a Maestro Vibrola and engraved lyre cover plate, along with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and Kluson tuners. All of the hardware has a vintage patina courtesy of the Murphy Lab. Light AgingThis ’64 SG reissue gets a Light aging from the Murphy lab. It bears the subtle scars of a guitar that's been babied, but still lived a life over the last 50 plus years. You'll see dings, pick trails, finish flaking, lacquer checking and softened edges all over the instrument.

The Paul Stanley Signature Ibanez is equipped with Seymour Duncan '59 model and Custom 5 pickups that provide balanced and warm tones. Special features of the Paul Stanley Signature electric guitar include the “Cracked Mirror.” Ibanez obtained Stanley’s original guitar and was able to faithfully recreate the original “Cracked Mirror” top with acrylic pieces, reproduced by hand, one piece at a time. Other features include Gotoh machine heads that provide superior precision, a smooth feel, and excellent tuning accuracy. Additionally, the Gotoh GE103B-T bridge improves sustain and tuning stability. Meanwhile, the stable Gotoh GE101Z-T tailpiece holds your strings in tune. An Ibanez hardshell case is included to provide extreme protection for your instrument. With a larger-than-life stage show and some of the most iconic rock anthems, KISS climbed to the top of the charts during the 1970s and became one of the biggest acts in rock-and-roll history. Get my Guitar found the latest prices on the Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1964 SG Standard Reissue With Maestro Vibrola Heavy Aged Electric Guitar Faded Cherry.

"The Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1964 SG Standard is a reissue that looks like the real thing—a vintage instrument made in the same year the U.S. met the Beatles. Of course, George Harrison famously played a ’64 SG Standard, as did Eric Clapton, but it's also been the weapon of choice for Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, U2's the Edge and ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr. Built in the Custom Shop with stunning attention to detail, this SG then headed to the Murphy Lab for an Ultra Heavy aging. It emerged with the scars of five decades of extreme wear and abuse. Loaded with dual CustomBuckers and a Maestro Vibrola, you'll be able to coax great sound from the get-go. If you've been looking for an absolutely authentic SG Standard, congratulations—Guitar Center has you covered with this Gibson.’64 SG Standard Reissue Main Features1-piece lightweight mahogany bodyMahogany neck with medium C-shape, Indian rosewood fretboardDual alnico III CustomBuckers (unpotted), 3-way switchABR-1 tune-o-matic bridge, Maestro Vibrola, vintage-style tunersUltra Heavy aged finishLightweight ConstructionOne of the benefits of a ’60s SG is the way it feels on your shoulders. It doesn't have the same heft as a Les Paul from the same era. The Custom Shop fashioned this instrument from one piece of lightweight mahogany. By 1964, the SG had a beefier neck; this Murphy Lab model shares that same profile, a medium C-shape. It attaches to the body with a long tenon and is set with historically-accurate hide glue. Ultra Heavy AgingThis ’64 SG reissue gets an Ultra Heavy aging from the Murphy Lab, led by Gibson Master Artisan Tom Murphy. You'll see 50-plus years of hard playing on the finish, with major buckle rash, extreme arm and pick wear, plus exposed areas of raw wood. It's easy to imagine this Les Paul Standard falling more than once from the band van. The Gibson Custom Murphy Lab ’64 SG Standard Reissue with Maestro Vibrola comes with a certificate of authenticity and a brown and pink reissue 5-latch hardshell case. The Gibson Custom Murphy Lab '54 Les Paul Goldtop comes with a certificate of authenticity, plus an aged brown/pink Lifton hardshell case.
